My dads dog likes to poop in my living room. I can’t explain it. There is no business case for living room pooping.

rez dog = rescue?
He looks awesome - when I used to live with roommates (who are my close friends) they got a rescue dog as well who’d take the odd indoor poop and had a tendency to eat many things (it ate a whole chocolate cake, a stick of butter, and many leather goods) but I made it very clear to my friends that while I’ll treat the dog well, I’m certainly not cleaning up after it.
I love that dog since it never ate any of my stuff, and I’d let it chill on the couch with me while I’d play video games. We got along well, and I always love seeing him whenever I visit my friends. He doesn’t do any of that stuff anymore but I gotta admit I had some strong schadenfreude going since we just hung out playing video games (well, I played video games while he hung out).

Rez dog means he’s from a First Nations reserve, which tend to have loads of stray dogs. Vader hopped into my buddy’s truck one day, and that was that. So I guess that also makes him a rescue?

Ah, I didn’t realize that strays were commonplace on native reserves. This sounds like the dog adopted person rather than the traditional method of animal adoption. Either way, looks like a good-natured fella even if he does take surprise shits (hopefully that can be trained away).

Very commonplace. On the one closest to me, there _might_ be a hundred strays/ “owned” dogs? Time will tell on which ones will survive the winter.

D og sitted last Saturday. Which meant a beagle pup wanting to cuddle with me all day, and I was 100% okay with that.
